Mind My Health is NOT an emergency mental health service. If you find yourself requiring urgent attention, you should contact your GP or the accident and emergency service at your local hospital. If you choose to email or phone the service, we cannot guarantee that we will be available. Should an emergency consultation be unavoidable a significantly higher rate of fee applies.

Furthermore, although confidentiality is maintained throughout our work, except for exceptional circumstances when we have a legal or ethical obligation which conflicts with clinical confidentiality, it may be important to inform a 3rd party if you are in crisis.  As mental health practitioners we are also obliged to seek consultation with a senior colleague in order to gain deeper understanding and maintain high quality professional service. Should you have any concerns about this please discuss as soon as possible.
